Buy DSIP UK – 10 mg vials
Looking for DSIP UK? Ultra Peptides supplies DSIP as a lyophilised research compound in 10 mg vials (10 mg for £24.99), dispatched from the UK the same working day when you order and pay before 2 pm. Delta sleep-inducing peptide – a nonapeptide first isolated from rabbit brain, studied in sleep and stress research.

What is DSIP?
DSIP (delta sleep-inducing peptide) is a nine-amino-acid neuropeptide first isolated in 1977 from the cerebral venous blood of rabbits in induced slow-wave sleep.
Its natural precursor and receptor are still not fully characterised, which keeps it an open research topic. It is supplied as a 10 mg lyophilised powder.
DSIP research overview
Researchers who order DSIP UK from us typically work in the following areas. All of the work summarised here is preclinical – cell-culture and animal-model research – and is not evidence of any effect in people.
Sleep architecture
DSIP has been studied for its influence on delta-wave (slow-wave) sleep in animal models, with mixed results across studies.
Stress and neuroendocrine research
Other work has examined DSIP in relation to stress hormones, LH release and thermoregulation.

Purity and independent lab testing
Every vial of DSIP UK is supplied at a minimum of 99% purity, measured by HPLC. We send batches to independent laboratories and publish the certificates on our lab reports page as they are issued. If you need the analysis for the batch you receive, email us your order number and we will send it.
Peptides are synthesised to the published sequence, lyophilised and sealed under controlled conditions, then stored cold and away from light until they are packed for dispatch.
Reconstituting and storing DSIP
DSIP arrives as a dry, lyophilised powder. Most researchers reconstitute it with bacteriostatic water, adding the diluent slowly down the inside of the vial and swirling gently rather than shaking. Use our reconstitution calculator to work out the concentration for the volume you add.
Unopened vials keep best frozen at −20 °C, or in the fridge at 2–8 °C for shorter periods, always protected from light. Once reconstituted, keep the solution refrigerated and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles – splitting it into aliquots helps. Our storage guide covers shelf life in detail.

Laboratory handling checklist for DSIP
- Let the sealed vial reach room temperature before opening, so moisture does not condense on the powder.
- Wipe the rubber septum with 70% isopropyl alcohol and work on a clean surface.
- Add the diluent slowly down the inside wall of the vial and swirl gently until the powder has dissolved – do not shake.
- Label the vial with the concentration, the date of reconstitution and the batch number.
- Keep reconstituted solutions at 2–8 °C, protected from light, and use them within the stability window of your protocol.
- Record lot numbers in your lab notebook so results can be traced back to a specific batch.
